DescriptionThe Research-Development Institute for Agriculture Lovrin, Timis County, Romania, was established in 1946.
The institute covers the areas cultivated with cereals and technical crops in Western Romania, its results being promoted in production in most of these areas.
Its mission is to create high-performance varieties, grain hybrids and technical cultures, tailored to the economic conditions of the region as well as to develop modern technologies.
Main objectives of research activities:
Creating high-performance and high quality varieties and hybrids, in line with the concept of healthy and competitive agriculture;
Improving crop technologies for the varieties and hybrids created in the Institute in order to maximize production capacity.
The activities of the Institute also include the promotion, dissemination and introduction of technical progress, the capitalization of research results by means of technical assistance and consultancy, information, publications, etc.
The company is an active member of Timis Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture.
